Oro Silver Resources Ltd. reached an agreement granting the company’s wholly owned subsidiary Minera Oro Silver S.A. de C.V. a two-year Right of First Refusal (ROFR) to acquire the Vetagrande silver mine and mill located in the Zacatecas-Fresnillo silver district, in Zacatecas State, Mexico from Contracuña I, S.A. de C.V. The ROFR gives Oro Silver the option to become active with the Vetagrande mine at any time within the next two years in exchange for keeping the Vetagrande mining concessions in good standing. The Vetagrande mine is an active silver producer and has produced grades ranging from 200 to 1,500 g/t silver (not NI 43-101 compliant).

Received all final assay results for the summer 2008 Vetagrande drilling program which was completed in August 2008. All holes successfully intersected the Vetagrande structure within 10 m of where it was predicted, but due in part to the nature of the mineralized shoots, the style of mineralization, and drill hole spacing, the continuity of silver grade was not encountered although base metal values are typical of historic grade. Hole 08VGX003 returned 5.37 m of 0.15 g/t Au, 54.6 g/t Ag, 0.20% Pb, 0.51% Zn and 0.03% Cu from 445.2 m.
