February 4, 2010 Whitehaven Coal announced it has completed the acquisition of the Vickery coal project in the Gunnedah Basin from Coal & Allied Industries. The total consideration was A$31.5million in cash and a 1,156 hectare parcel of land in the Gunnedah region.
