Interpretation of airborne geophysical data for part of the Wellington property by a qualified consultant yielded a number of kimberlite pipe and dikelike targets. The anomalies were filtered with ground geophysics in early June and a core drilling program consisting of four holes for 350 m was carried out on three of the anomalies. No kimberlite was intersected. Further work is planned this summer to isolate a source for the known kimberlite indicator minerals on the Wellington property by prospecting on other geophysical targets and till sampling. In addition, trenching on a known kimberlite dike is planned to collect a large-enough sample for analysis.

Exploration drill program commenced - the targets chosen are on trend and have similar geophysical signatures to the diamondiferous kimberlite found on Diamonds North’s Blue Ice Project’s Galaxy Structure. The Galaxy Structure is a 20 kilometre trend of semi continuous kimberlite that to date has 9 separate kimberlite bodies 4 of which have anomalously high diamond counts. The program will consist of a 500 m drill program to test 4 to 5 targets that have been verified using ground geophysics. The airborne geophysical surveys flown in 2002 identified six pipe-like and six dyke-like anomalies which have magnetic signatures similar to known kimberlites on Victoria Island.

Diamonds North has commenced an exploration drill program on its Wellington project, Victoria Island, Nunavut. The targets chosen are on trend and have similar geophysical signatures to the diamondiferous kimberlite found on the company's Blue Ice Project’s Galaxy Structure. The program will consist of a 500 m drill program to test 4 to 5 targets that have been verified using ground geophysics. Majescor can earn a 50% interest in the Wellington Project by spending CAD2.25 million over three years.
