Azimut Exploration Inc. announced that Goldcorp Canada completed an 8-hole diamond drilling campaign totalling 2,008 metres on two gold targets on the Wabamisk property, Quebec, Canada. A key result was the discovery of a gold-antimony-arsenic mineralized zone associated with a diorite intrusion and metasedimentary rocks. The best intercept returned 0.7 g/t gold, 0.39% antimony and 0.20% arsenic over 19.0 m including 2.27 g/t gold over 4.3 m.

Several significant targets were identified on the property following the summer exploration program. Targets were identified by combining till and lake-bottom sediment assays, rocksampling results, geological and structural mapping, and magnetic data acquired on the property. Most historical gold showings, including values of up to 80.71 grams per tonne, fall within the target zones. These targets clearly display the potential to be laterally continuous for several kilometres and represent underexplored areas.
