Latest Information September 30, 2002 Diamond drilling has progressed beyond 1800 metres. Assays have been returned showing mineralization consisting of pyrite, pyrrhotite, with varying amounts of chalcopyrite and sphalerite was observed from 1697 meters to 1833 meters (136 meters) in siliceous feldspar porphyry, siliceous fragmental rhyolite, lapilli tuffs, mafic tuffs, sericitic and chloritic intensely altered rhyolites., January 31, 2001 Drill results were received from the latest hole drilled on the property. Grades ranged from 1.87 g/t to 2.19 g/t gold over widths of 0.51 m to 2.40 m, respectively. Silver values ranged from 10.25 g/t to 49.10 g/t silver and copper values ranges from 1.45% to 5.15% and zinc ranged from 1.02% to 2.95%. Significant results were reported from three intersections between 1,763.85 m and 1,791.80 m. As indicated by a downhole electromagnetic survey, this hole possibly intersected the lower edge of the downward projected plunge of the 777 mine on the Callinan mine property.  January 5, 2001 Callinan Mines has announced assay results from three intersections from the latest hole drilled on its War Baby project in Manitoba. The highest gold grade was between 1,789.40 m and 1,791.80 m where a 2.19 g/t gold interval was intersected over 2.4 m, and contained 28.32 g/t silver, 3.33% copper and 1.02% zinc. The company also announced a 4,000 m drill program of 22 to 25 holes to be drilled on its nickel-copper-PGE properties in the Snow Lake area of Manitoba. |
