Latest Information
November 28, 2011
Ironbark Zinc announced it has received all assays from wide spaced exploration drilling at its 100% owned Washington land project in northern Greenland.
May 31, 1999
A drilling program was planned for the prospect. In 1998, a program of gravity geophysics, geological mapping, and surface sampling showed the mineralized zone extended about 4 km with mineralized showings scattered along this strike length over a width of 250 meters.
December 31, 1997
Several gossan zones of weathered mineralization had been discovered over a strike length of 2.4 km within a stratabound horizon 100 m thick. The individual gossans each have dimensions of between 3 and 30 m in diameter. Grab samples collected by the government party have returned values up to 24% zinc, 12% lead and 170 g/t silver. A geophysical programme together with geological mapping and sampling was planned.
