Latest Information February 17, 2004 Consolidated Global Minerals has acquired the West Coast Mine, a former silver and gold producer in Humboldt County, Nevada. Past production from the mine from 1936 to 1941 is 41,887 tons grading 0.134 oz/ton Au and 11.5 oz/ton Ag. This totals 482,000 ounces of silver and 5,600 ounces of gold. The mine was shut down by the War Production Board L201 in 1942. There are at least 5 veins or vein systems on the property. Two veins have seen extensive development. The exploration target is 10-million ounces of silver and 100,000 ounces of gold. |
