Aussie Q Resources announced results from 3 drill holes totaling 456 m drilling into the area at Whitewash South on EPM 14628. Drill Hole 09WW091, drilled at Whitewash South, 100m South of the previously reported drill hole 09WW090, has intersected a significant zone of Mo/Cu mineralization namely: 39m @ Mo 232 ppm, Cu 0.23% and Ag 2.6g/t including 7m @ Mo 366 ppm, Cu 0.33% and Ag 2.3g/t. Features of this hole include the apparent increase in copper grades as drilling moves south and east. Drill Hole 09WW091 also intersected an overlapping copper intersection of 78m at 0.2% Cu, 157 ppm Mo and 2.0g/t Ag including 27m at 0.23% Cu, 169 ppm Mo and 30m @ 0.22% Cu, 215 ppm Mo and 3.4g/t Ag Whitewash South is situated 500m south of the 71.5 million tonne Inferred Resource at Whitewash / Gordons. Potentially this new mineralization increasing the strike length of the Whitewash Mineralization by 600m to 1.9km.
Aussie Q Resources announced results from the Whitewash project in Queensland, Australia. Best results include drill hole 09WW090 which intersected two zones of Mo/Cu mineralization namely: 73 m @ 484 ppm molybdenum, 0.14% copper and 1.4 ppm silver and 6 m @ 452 ppm Mo, 0.28% Cu and 5.2 g/t Ag.
Aussie Q Resource reported an initial mineral resource estimate at the Gordon’s molybdenum-copper prospect, part of the 100% owned Whitewash Molybdenum-Copper project in EPM 14628 near Monto, south-east Queensland, Australia. With the addition of the Gordon’s resource, the combined JORC-compliant Whitewash project mineral resource stands at 71.5 Mt @ 0.034% Mo, 0.1% Cu and 1.2g/t Ag containing over 52.8 million lbs of molybdenum, over 154.0 million lbs of copper and 2.6 million ounces of silver.
