Deloro Resources report that the Production testing has commenced on schedule on the Wilkie heavy oil project in the Province of Saskatchewan, Canada. Current testing is evaluating one of the six wells on the property. This testing will continue to evaluate the full production potential of a horizontal well and the new technology being utilized.

Oil in place (100 per cent) was calculated based on McLaren sand net pay isopach maps and the average reservoir parameters. The original oil in place underneath company land was calculated to be approximately 63.1 million stock tank barrels. By applying a 2.5-to-10-per-cent recovery factor, the McLaren field may yield recoverable reserves of approximately 1.58 million to 6.31 million stock tank barrels. New advancements in heavy oil recovery technology may enable considerably higher recoveries of the original oil in place.
