The underground adit at Daping which is over 1,000m in length, 125m deep and is located in the center of the 720 sq km Xuefeng property has been completed under the current phase of work. Broad zones of up to 150m wide of anomalous gold mineralization were encountered at several different sections of the adit. A drilling program was considered at Chanziping subject to available funds.

Historical and current drill results. The underground adit at Daping will be about 1,000 metres in length by the end of next month. The Changziping database will now enable IKI to produce plan maps, cross-sections and longitudinal sections of this area of the Xuefeng property in order to design a drill program for 2005. The adit is approximately 120 metres from surface and is designed to perpendicularly cut up to five further gold zones known to exist at surface at Daping. A total of 27 samples from the adit, including samples from zone I-10, are out for assay. Leading up to and excluding zone I-10, the SSW adit heading has cut through 76 metres of grey-green slate, in the Daping shear zone, with minor amounts of silicification and quartz veinlets having a weighted average of 0.34 gram per tonne Au. It appears this SSW portion of the 2,500- metre Daping shear zone is gold bearing, leading up to zones I- 10, I-11 and I-12.Further results are pending.

To date, a total of 604m of underground rehabilitation and new adit headings have been completed to date. Approximately 400m of this work has been new 2.0m by 1.8m underground adit headings of which about 300m has been continuously channel sampled at 1m to 3m sample lengths. The NE40 adit heading has progressed through the altered grey-green sandstones with minor amounts of chloritization, sericitization, local pyritization, silicification and some fracture zones encountered in this heading within the up to 700m wide shear zone. The SSW185 heading has an overall weighted average grade of 0.11 g/t Au over 165m. Plans are to drill in 2005.
