103 air core holes (total 2395 m) were drilled along 16 traverses adjacent to the Yarlbrinda Shear Zone targeting shear hosted gold. Drill assays have not yet been returned from the laboratories, but the program has already discovered a new ductile shear zone (the ‘Childera Shear Zone’) similar to the Yarlbrinda Shear Zone and quartz veining at the interpreted lithological boundary of one traverse.

The S.A Government has approved $80,000 of PACE funding for drilling of Yathong iron oxide, copper, gold, uranium (IOCGU) style targets. This is in addition to the $46,000 PACE funding available for air core drilling of identified Shear Hosted Gold targets adjacent to the Yarlbrinda Shear Zone, 40km south of the 730,000 oz Tunkillia gold Resource. Detailed gravity surveys have been completed at Yathong IOCGU target. Calcrete, stream sediment sampling and geological mapping, combined with the gravity survey results make this a high priority prospect with multiple indicators. An air core drilling program is planned for the June Quarter to test identified target zones.

Announced an accelerated program for the next copper, gold and uranium target, following encouraging results from initial survey and sampling work.The Yathong prospect within its Project, had returned results significant enough for it to meet exploration criteria as a high priority IOCGU. Results received from the initial sampling work at Yathong revealed elevated uranium and rare earth elements indicative of IOCGU environment in alluvium downstream from the Yathong target. The Company is currently evaluating 45 preliminary gravity targets in its tenements and applications over prospective positions with the objective of developing a pipeline of quality IOCGU targets during 2006.
