Pacific Sapphire has curtailed mining operations and plans to commence reclamation work on its Yogo property in Montana as a result of its inability to meet payment obligations under the lease agreement with Roncor Inc. The two companies are continuing discussions about Pacific Sapphire's optioning or purchasing the property. Yogo commenced production in October of last year, and returned 2,000 carats of sapphire from the first 270 tonnes processed, including 400 stones in excess of 1 carat. Placer sapphire deposits were discovered in the area in 1895, and 16 million carats were recovered between 1899 and 1929.
