Mr.
Ellis was the Chairman and Founder of the International Valuation Standards Committee's
task force for writing the mining and petroleum industry valuation
standards until 2008. He is a member of numerous national and international societies
covering the mining and energy industries. For the duration of 2000-2002,
he was the President of the American Institute of Minerals Appraisers
and authored the Institute's Code of Ethics. More than 40 of his professional
papers in mineral economics and mineral property valuation have been
published.
