Explosion Proof Fuel and
Lube Reels
Hannay fueling and lube reels are explosion proof reels designed for mining
applications. These reels, which handle 1” to 1 ½” hose and feature manual or power rewind,
are explosion proof. Available in aluminum, stainless steel and e-coated and painted steel,
these durable reels offer strong protection against corrosion and contamination.

The Perfect Large Cable
Reel
Perfect for mining, the powerful Hannay Series CR 6600 reel is capable of handling
larger gauge cable, and is offered with a standard auxiliary rewind. The series is supplied
with a pinion brake, although other brakes or locking devices may be specified. The Series CR
6600 offers various power rewind options and higher amperage for more strength. The chain and
sprocket drive is powered by electric, compressed air, or hydraulic motor.

A variety of heavy-duty Hannay communications reels are available to meet mining needs.
Designed for use in harsh mining applications, these durable reels feature manual, power and
spring rewind for the purposes of storage and live electric cable. Portable cable reels and

Strong Firefighting
Reels
Hannay’s firefighting reels are available in aluminum or stainless steel construction to
provide ultimate strength. These reels feature crank rewind cable or sprocket drive powered by
an electric or compressed air motor. They offer live connection of power cable to provide easy
hose dispersal and quick pick-up to save time in payout and clean- up. Designed to make the
hardest job easier, Hannay firefighting reels are dependable for a long life with ease of use.

Powerful Welding Reels
Hannay’s powerful welding reels are specifically designed to improve the efficiency and
safety of welding operations for mining applications. The N400 welding reel handles 1/4" or
3/8" oxygen/gas dual hose in lengths of up to 100 feet, and features two swivel joint inlets
and two outlet risers to handle twin gas welding hose. The narrow frame design makes the N400
ideal for mining. This durable reel offers a heavy-duty spring motor, providing self-contained
rewind power.
