Hitachi offers five mining-sized excavators: EX1900-6, EX2500-6, EX3600-6, EX5500-6, and EX8000-6, with bucket sizes ranging from 14.4 to 52.3 cubic yards. The company also sells a sixth — the versatile EX1200-6, used by many mines, quarries, and contractors.
Hitachi rigid-frame haul trucks set the standard for productivity and comfort. Mining models include the mechanical-drive EH1700-3, and the AC electric-drive EH3500ACII and EH5000ACII. The Hitachi EH3500ACII is the first truck in the world to be built entirely from the manufacturer’s own drive-system components.
Worldwide, Hitachi partners with sales companies and dealers to support Hitachi equipment — either by working with established dealers or, in extremely remote areas, by creating Hitachi-owned support facilities.
