MacLean Engineering initially made headway in the world of underground, hard rock mining with the introduction of the 900 Series Platform Scissor Bolters. Success of the MacLean Bolters is attributed to the fact that it provides an extremely safe and efficient work area for an operator as all drilling and bolting operations are carried out under supported ground.
Expanding its product line, MacLean Engineering now offers small and standard size equipment in 8' wide [3 Series] and 6' wide [2 Series] carrier configurations in its bolting, shotcrete and utility vehicles. MacLean equipment features clean, high powered, electronically controlled engines to minimize harmful emissions while working underground, ROPS/FOPS-approved canopies, enclosed cab and climate control options are also available for increased operator safety and comfort.
MacLean recognizes the importance of ease of maintenance on equipment and all MacLean products are designed with this in mind, offering improved access to wear components, electronic engine diagnostics, accessible fuel filling and grease points as well as utilising components proven to have improved life and easy repairability.
