Machinery and Equipment Company is in its 63rd year of continuous operation. Founded in 1938 in San Francisco, California, Machinery and Equipment Company has grown to be the largest used process equipment dealer in the Western United States. "M&E" specializes in all types of process equipment including mining and minerals processing, chemical and food processing machinery.
Recognized as a leader in our industry in marketing and advertising, we regularly advertise in over 24 monthly trade publications and publish a frequent INDEX of used machinery, which is our general catalog. On an as needed basis we also produce liquidation brochures to market equipment from specific plant sites.

As the largest dealer in the United States in used minerals processing equipment, "M&E" buys complete plants and brokers and consigns equipment from mining operations all over the world. Our expertise is utilized by large and small mining companies around the world to maximize their return on idle or surplus capital equipment.

Machinery and Equipment Company has expertise in the liquidation of equipment from virtually all types of mining and minerals processing plants. We have recently liquidated precious metals and base metals plants including gold, copper, lead, zinc, iron ore and tungsten. Non-metallic minerals processing equipment also represents a sizeable percentage of our minerals equipment sales. Coal, lime and cement, gypsum, barite and talc plants are often liquidated.

In today's economic climate we have emphasized sales to overseas markets. Our emphasis, in particular, has been to Latin and South American countries and we have an extremely well regarded International Division specifically dealing with these markets. The International Division staff has full command of the Spanish language and has established an extensive network of mining Industry contacts in Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru.
