Company History

The company was founded in 1977 as a division of the Swedish company C.J. Wennberg working in the field of copper hydrometallurgy. The company was the first designer and fabricator of electrode handling machinery for copper tankhouses.  In 1987 , the physical assets of the company were transferred to Outokumpu Oy of Finland and the company was acquired by Ronald Pariani , a senior former employee. 

In 2000 David Stone joined the company to assist in sales and service also bringing many years of copper electrorefining experience. Four years later, in 2004 , Alejandro Lira , well known in Mexico and South America , came on board to head up P. I. International Chile  a new international venture to bring the P. I. International approach to the Latin American marketplace. P. I. International has now extended the international activity to Europe and Southern Africa with the establishment of P. I. International Europe led by well known tankhouse and solvent extraction specialist , Wayne Hopkins. 

Who We Are 

P.I. International is part of the “Eco” group of companies which include P. I. International , Eco – Clean , Eco – Land , and Eco – Restoration . The last is now locally famous in Georgia USA for a significant vintage vehicle restoration of the Georgia Technical College football symbol “The Rambling Wreck From Georgia Tech “ 

The group now exceeds 40 direct employees with locations in Atlanta and Tucson USA, Santiago Chile and Richmond England . P. I. International annually processes some US$ 11 500 000 of sales ( US$ 1 500 000 direct and US$ 17 000 000 indirect ) in North America , South America and Europe .

Growth plans include Central and South East Asia and Australia.
