Orginally founded in 1995 as Ursa Engineering, Zostrich Geotechnical’s sole focus is providing premium rock mechanics engineering services to the mining industry. While small, our clients rank amongst the largest mining companies in the world.

Services offered include statistical characterization of rock masses for open pit and underground excavations. This is coupled with our expertise in initial excavation method selection and development of analytical and rock support techniques for difficult excavation circumstances. When things go wrong, we have extensive experience in the remediation of actively failing slopes and openings, and provide forensic investigations for insurance and contract dispute cases.
