November 6, 2009 Avion Gold announced it produced approximately 6,278 ounces of gold during 25 days of production in the month of October, averaging 251 ounces per day. This number indicates a predicted run-rate for the month of approximately 7,500 ounces, based on a full month of production. For the month of October, the company realized an average grade of 3.90 g/t, with a 96.8% mill recovery.

November 6, 2009 Regency Mines plc announces the signing of a Joint Venture Agreement with Direct Nickel Pty Ltd ("DNi"), pursuant to the
Memorandum of Understanding between the parties signed on 19 August 2009 and extended on 30 September 2009 ("JV"). Under the terms of the JV, the parties have agreed to co-operate on a 50/50 basis in the piloting and application of DNi's advanced nickel/cobalt leaching technology at Regency's Mambare lateritic nickel deposit in Papua New Guinea. Regency will agree to sell a 100% interest in its wholly owned subsidiary Canopus No 83 Limited, and in any other interests it may come to hold in the vicinity of the Mambare deposit, to a wholly owned subsidiary of DNi ("JVCo"), for a consideration consisting of redeemable convertible shares which will convert, on achievement of the objective of the JV, into a 50% interest in JVCo.
November 6, 2009 East Energy announced it has received assay results from a sampling program carried out by Rare Earth Metals on its properties in the Red Wine Alkaline Complex in the Letitia Lake area of Labrador. These results include values up to 4.99% Total Rare Earth Oxides (TREO), 0.97% Be and 2.35% Nb2O5 from the Mann #1 Zone and 3.24% TREO, 0.93% Be and 4.19% Nb2O5 from the Two Tom Lake Showing. The Red Wine Properties are located 120 km northeast of Churchill Falls, Labrador.
