Iberian Minerals announced operating results for the Condestable Mine for the third quarter of 2009 together with an update on the Aguas Tenidas Mine, hedging positions, and guidance for 2009 and 2010. Highlights for the Condestable Mine operations for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 with revenues of US$26.3 million, production of 6,051 tonnes of copper, 4,386 oz gold and 61,004 oz silver.

Nex Metals Explorations announced the recent mineral resource estimate previously announced on 4 Nov 2009 has prompted its directors to reassess the Kookynie Gold Project, Western Australia, in terms of a bulk tonnage low grade Heap Leach operation. A plan whereby gold production may be robustly and inexpensively expanded to 100,000 ounces of gold per annum, in addition to the 15,000 ounce Phase 1 dump leach, has been developed. This plan is now in the Comprehensive Feasibility Study (CFS) stage.

RT Minerals announced it has entered into an agreement with a securities agent in connection with a unit offering to raise up to $1.5 m comprised of up to $500,000 in non-flow through funding and at least $1.0 m in flow through funding to close on or before December 31, 2009. In addition, a deep penetrating IP geophysical program is currently underway on the Golden property, Timmins, Ontario. The current field program is designed to test for the extension of the Wakemac Fault, the sediment hosted gold targets, and the Destor-Porcupine fault.
