Monday, March 07, 2005 DRAGON MINING LIMITED Dragon Mining has raised AUD7 million in a brokered financing to fund the development of the Vammala Plant in southern Finland and to pay down corporate debt. The Vammala Plant was originally established to process nickel ore at a nominal rate of 600,000 tonnes per annum but has more recently processed ore from the Orivesi Gold Mine. Located within economic carting distance of the two advanced projects, namely Jokisivu and Orivesi and other ore exploration targets, Dragon plans to use Vammala as the central process facility for all future mining operations in the southern Finland region.
