Commodity production from Chinese mines has been growing dramatically of late, at the same time and for now increasing demand for the metals is easily lapping it up, reports Mineweb. This is according to Neil Buxton, managing director of metals consultancy, GFMS, who says that the perception is that production would still increase further because of higher prices, and because of Chinese smelters’s want to reduce reliance on imports.
