The hopefully latest fad in jewelry hit the television airwaves in two major Chinese cities Monday as the world’s first modern palladium advertising made its debut, reports Mineweb. If the strategy to market to Chinese women in the 18 to 32-year-old range proves a resounding success, PGM producers worldwide can thank Stillwater Mining’s Frank McAllister. Despite fires, declining revenues and other stumbling blocks for Stillwater’s production, nothing diminishes the momentum of McAllister’s unstoppable palladium campaign. Unfortunately, all that hard work has yet to hit Stillwater’s bottom line which has been struggling for years.
