Tuesday, September 26, 2006 CLINE MINING CORPORATION and UMC ENERGY PLC Cline Mining has struck a deal with UMC Energy plc to acquire nearly 40 per cent of the British company in exchange for Cline's controlling stake in a Madagascar uranium project. Sudbury, Ont.-based Cline said Tuesday it has agreed to acquire nearly 12.3 million shares of UMC; a company listed on the London Stock Exchange's AIM board in exchange for Cline's 80 per cent interest in its uranium subsidiary Uramad SA of Madagascar.
