Design and implement Grade Control drilling programs, including sample and assay QAQC. Monitor use of the GCX modelling system to ensure optimal definition of ore and waste blocks according to the site’s specifications for material types. Supervise ore extraction to ensure minimal dilution and maximum ore recovery. Perform routine model reconciliations to ensure that current systems on site are identifying and mining material types to appropriate locations / stockpiles. Design and implement near mine exploration drilling programs, including sample and assay QAQC, interpret results from the programs, and compile updated Resource models as required. Report Geology section activities in weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports. Monitor section costs to ensure compliance with department Budget.
