(Eng.) from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa and an international practice providing services for information management, computer modeling and education to the environmental, resource and geotechnical sectors. He has specialized in 3D computer modeling applications in the geosciences since 1979, including development of modeling, geostatistics and spatial a …[+] nalysis techniques that have become accepted practice in the geosciences, and was the founder and technical director of Lynx Geosystems Inc.
His experience includes numerous research, development, application and educational projects, emphasizing practical application and dissemination of technology through consulting and research projects, educational seminars and technical publications. He is an authority on XML and its application to online education and training projects.
He is the developer of an XML-based courseware template and authoring environment, and author of numerous technical publications including "3D Geoscience Modeling - Computer Techniques for Geological Characterization" (hard cover) Springer Verlag (1994) and "Practical Geostatistics, Modeling and Spatial Analysis" (hard cover and CD) Springer Verlag (1999).
