Location- Southeast of Tupiza on the meridional part of the Occidental Cordilla within the gold disstrict of the Chichas belt.
The deposits is emplaced in sedimentary rocks of Ordovician age on the east flank of an anticline structure composed by slates intercalated by potent sandstones banks, overlaying theae argillites strar's intercalated shales and siltites. The gold mineralization is present in veins, quartz veinlets, stock works and saddle reefs in small folds associated with pyrites, arsenopyrite disseminatred in wall of rock.
