Flagstone occurrence is a metamorphic , pinkish brown colored quartz-feldspar gneiss, which breaks along straight gneissic planes.
Mineralization:
Extreme metamorphism and deformation these rocks experienced during the mid-and late Proterozoic Era, probably resulted in the ultimate production of Flagstone, in the Parry Sound-Muskoka areas.

Results:
Preliminary tonnage calculation of "Flagstone" 141,000 tons. This equates to about 120,000 metric tonnes, or 49,000 Cubic metres of Flagstone.
