OverviewG4G Resources Ltd. (“G4G”) holds highly prospective mineral claims located in the Alberni and Nanaimo Mining Divisions of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The claims cover a total area of 18,146 hectares.
Previous exploration, including diamond drilling and geophysics, has identified copper, gold, silver and molybdenum mineralization. Mineral resources have been determined in the indicated category by Qualified Persons, as defined by National Instrument 43-101.
The mineral claims form two properties, Macktush (16,946 hectares) and Kennedy River (1,200 hectares). G4G holds 100% of the Macktush and Kennedy River properties, with highlights as follows:
Mactush• Comprised of 39 mineral claims covering 16,946 hectares.
• Accessible by road, located approximately 10 kilometres south of Port Alberni, British Columbia.
• Characterized by a large number of quartz veins with considerable alteration and anomalous Cu, Au, Ag and Mo mineralization.
• Geophysical surveys have been conducted over the entire Macktush area. A number of magnetic and gravity anomalies have been identified.
• During 2005 and 2006, 46 diamond drill holes were drilled, for a total of 3,118 metres.
• Data obtained from drilling, trenching and surface sampling to date has been used to determine indicated mineral resources totaling 353,002 tonnes.
• The various zones and veins have achieved assays of up to 13.91 g/t Au, 48.1g/t Ag and 5.16% Cu.
• Metallurgical testing of the samples from multiple locations have been rated as having high metal recovery.
• Over $1.4 million has been spent on the property to date.
• Drill core and comprehensive drill logs and assays are available for review.
• Macktush remains largely undrilled and untested.
• A number of highly prospective drill target targets have been identified, including one with a strong magnetic signature and elevated Cu, Au and Ag in rock and moss samples.
• Property is in good standing and all licenses are in order.
Kennedy River• Comprised of 4 mineral claims covering 1,200 hectares.
• Accessible by road, located approximately 50 kilometres west of Port Alberni, British Columbia.
• Characterized by gold bearing quartz sulphide veins.
• A number of exploration programs were conducted in the Kennedy River area from 1975 to 1989, including prospecting, trenching, geophysical surveys and diamond drilling.
• The 2009 field exploration program consisted of prospecting and rock sampling. Geochemistry results included assays of 32.7 g/t Au and 10.6 g/t Au. Elevated values of Ag, Cu, Pb, Zn and Co were also obtained.
• The results from the 2009 field program support further exploration of the Kennedy River property, including trenching and diamond drilling.
• Property is in good standing and all licenses are in order.
