SummaryThe property covers an area of more than 5,400 sq km., located near
the headwater of the Gayna river on the eastern slope of the MacKenzie
Mountains, 170 km west of Norman Wells, in the Northwest Territories,
Canada.
Carbonate hosted SILVER-LEAD target.
GeologyThe prospecting permits overlie a series of folded and thrusted Proterozoic
to Devonian carbonates and shales. These rocks are time equivalent
to giant, base metal deposits in the region such as Howard's Pass,
currently controlled by Pacifica Resources Ltd., with an inferred
resource of 115 million tonnes grading 5.4 per cent zinc
and 2.1 per cent lead with more than 15 g/t silver plus an additional
reported potential resource in excess of 360 million tonnes. Other
significant historical lead-zinc deposits exist in the area including
Tom and Jason.
Mineralization in the area consists of carbonate-hosted silver-lead-
zinc, similar to Pine Point.
The property comprises numerous prospects, to include Gayna River,
Ice 9, Art-Ekwi, Tap, Keg, Bear/Twit, AB-Main.
