LOCATION:The mine Andacollo Durazno, is in the sector "Las minillas". This sector is located in the km 14, in the roadside between the Putaendo city and the Petorca city. The Coordinates are: UTM: North 6398459 East: 339328.

ALTITUDE:The altitude of the entrance of this mine is of 1,207 meters above sea level. With an average altitude of 1.250 meters above sea level

ACCESS:The new road is asphalted and is beside the property entrance.

HISTORY: The first mining works registered at the region of the Little Mines were made in the year 1970 . There were works in semi-craft form since half of the year 1980.

In the year 1985 ENAMI developed in the project's frame Auriferous National Plan at the sector Putaendo's Little Mines a geological study, ( study is available to order ).

ENAMI did not work in this goldfield. Then the concession was sold by ENAMI, and mister Gonzalez bought this property from ENAMI .

PAST PRODUCTION: Mister Gonzalez had a yearly production of around 70 gold kilos.

REASON FOR THE JOB'S STOPPING: In nineties's the work musted stopping by the gold's price fall in the international markets. This situation made impossible craft-process's continuity.

CLIMATIC DESCRIPTION: Putaendo's zone is cold and dry climaticly the works are sure during 12 months per year.

The temperatures in winter are around+ 10 Celsius degree , in the daytime( months July and August ) . At night the sector can have low temperatures around - 4 degree Celsius . The zone can have snow in July and August.

BACKGROUND : Andacollo Durazno goldfields are known since 1970. The works at Andacollo's tunnels were paralyzed by the cut-rating of gold.New discoveries was made at the hills and in front of the tunnel, above the mine " Durazno."Seven profitable sectors for mining explotation was found in Andacollo Duranzo.
