Local Geology: Massive or brecciated basaltic flows with thin interdigitized (?) fingers of intermediate to felsic pyroclastic flows. Andesitic flow breccias occur in the north part of the property. Gabbro sill or dikes and syenite, quartz feldspar porphyry, carbonatite are also present.
Mineralization:
Composed of REE fluoro-carbonate, may be bastnasite, as veinlets and dikes. Carbonatization, hematization, fennitization present.
Work Results:
To date: 16 bedrock grab samples and 2 boulders returned economic grades ranging from 0.30% to 5.89% LREO, with 7 bedrock samples grading are higher than 1% LREO (5.89%, 3.72%, 2.28%, 1.47%, 1.35%, 1.33%, 1.02% LREO). LREO represents first five REE as oxydes: La2O3+CeO2+Pr6O11+Nd 2O3+Sm 2O3 Also, 35 grab samples of bedrock and 3 boulders showing sub-economic grade: 0.03% MMI survey returns Nb, Y, Ti, Co,Ni anomalies.

Other Comments:
This Property is the first exclusively and entirely dedicated to lanthanides REE) property in the Québec Abitibi Greenstones Belt. Mineralization represents a new type hydrothermal ore related-carbonatite previously unknown in the Abitibi.
Property offers excellent potential for hosting a new stable source of REE supply. Curently no REE mine in North America. World leading producer is China.
Forecast growth in demand for REE over the next 3-4 years is 4-9%/year (Roskill Report 2001). More than 45 REE applications, heading by catalysts, phospors, magnets, glass, ceramics, metallurgy, agriculture. Property must be available to funding for a public company (see www.sidex.ca; www.cdpcapital.com).
