Geology:
Late PreCambrian medium grained hornblende-biotite-garnet paragneiss" host garnet & sillimanite age.
Mineralization:
Enriched "Garnet Zone" continues at least 1000 feet in a north-northest direction; ~150 feet wide. Garnet size crystals occur from 1/16" in diameter to 3/4" in diameter. In addition, sillimnite needles were noted scattered sporadically throughout the garnet enriched zones. In some areas it appears that sillimanite might be recovered as a by-product.
Work:
1990 - 2002, owner completed extensive geological mapping, with follow-up processing of garnet bearing enriched zones. Much processing analysis was completed by I.M.D. Laboratories.
One diamond drill hole was drilled "across" the garnet bearing zone, core was never processed.
Results:
Detailed mapping of enriched zones has defined a "possible ore zone" estimated as 500,000 Tonnes of indicated ore grading 30% Garnet. Average garnet diameter in these "zones" is ~1/4".
