The 208.65 ha French Connection property is located 5 km east of Slocan, British Columbia on the southern side of Springer Creek. Easy access via Slocan Hwy and Springer Creek road. Elevations: 1,100 m to 1,900 m. It is partly covered by stands of commercial timber and straddles the upper reaches of Coldwell Creek and adjoins the Ottawa mine on the south.

Exploration and Mining History: No exploration or mining records could be found even though the claims adjoin and/or overlap major and minor underground past producers of silver and base metals.

Geology and Mineralization: The property is underlain by Jurassic coarse grained, porphyritic Nelson granite which is the host rock for most of the Slocan Camp’s silver mines. It is located just across the valley of one of the most important local silver producers - the Ottawa group of mines (nine levels; Minfile 082FNW155) that have produced 1.8 million ounces silver, 800,000 lbs lead and 28,000 lbs zinc. The mezothermal vein, breccia and disseminated polymetallic Ottawa deposit is developed in a broad shear/breccia zone that trends approximately north and dips easterly from 25 to 45 degrees. Consists of two separate loades: the West or Noble (up to 15m wide) and East or Ottawa (0.6 to 6 m wide).

Targets: The property adjoins and lies on the inferred southern extension of the major Ottawa vein system. The veins may join south of the mine. Numerous other past producing silver mines – Anna, Kimberley, Morning Star, Dayton, Evening Star #8, Smeralda, Exchange - lie within 1,200 m distance and the property partly overlaps some of their tenements. Their inferred strike could also constitute an exploration target

Prospecting, mapping and rock chip sampling should be employed prior of geochemistry and geophysics followed by drill testing if warranted.
