The field covers a surface of 61.775 to 74.13 acres.
For the reserves calculation only Cerro Colorado was studied; it occupies 14.826 acres, its outcropping reserves
Geologic description:
The body has a probable metasomatic origin (episyenite); for other authors it's a syenite. It outcrops into Los Nogales granitic plutonium.
Neither quartz nor mica were observed on its surface; iron was (ilmenite-magnetite).
Because of its K2O and Na2O content, it could be considered a mixed feldspar.
