The Moriarty - Rockyrun Group claims cover a large area highly prospective for new gold and copper discoveries. The 14 100% owned MTO claims cover 4122 hectares, or approximately 9500 acres. Extremely anomalous BCGS stream samples of 800 ppb Au and 2200 ppb Au are located on opposite sides of the Jurassic Karmutsen Formation basalts, which are positioned between similarly aged Island Plutonic Suite granodioritic intrusions. Both rock types are known to host high grade gold and base metal deposits in the region. The Surprise showing (Minfile # 092F 464) is located in a separate drainage than the 2200 ppb (2.2 g/t) Au stream sample location. 3.43% copper, 89.5 g/t silver, and 2.7 g/t gold have been recovered in a 1.5m section of diamond drill core from the Surprise showing. The Moriarty Lake showing (Minfile # 092F 151) is located on the northeast side of the claim area. Grab samples have returned 1405.4g/t silver, 1.7% zinc, and 0.2 % copper. Regional scale faulting appears to control mineralization. The area between these showings has received only very limited exploration, and the presence of anomalous gold in the drainages in this area suggest that the possibility for new discoveries is excellent.
