The InfoMine db Quick Search for Companies and Properties has been improved making searching much easier. The search has been redesigned so that in addition to searching companies by name you can now search for companies by Stock Symbol or search Featured Company Summaries by keyword. You can also set the search to only search Company Old Names to limit the size of your results. In addition, the search by Company Old Name is now only available to subscribers (at all subscription levels). With detailed information on over 1,000 publicly listed mining companies and almost 10,000 mineral properties, InfoMine db is the obvious place to start your company and property research. Professional Development

UBC Mining Engineering, UBC Continuing Studies and EduMine are pleased to announce their collaboration on the development of unique courses designed to meet the lifelong learning needs of the mining community. Each course integrates an online remote learning component with an intensive two-or-three day campus study component. Completion of required and elective courses leads to a Certificate in Mining Studies from UBC Continuing Studies. A number of such courses will be presented by UBC Mining Engineering at an annual Summer Institute of Mining Studies.

A New General Site-wide InfoMine Search is Now Available!

A new InfoMine Search has been developed so you can now search several InfoMine sections in one easy step. A total of 10 sections are searched: Careers, Companies, Properties, Suppliers, News, EduMine, Consultants, Equipment, Events and Publications. The InfoMine Search displays the top three results from each section and also a link to see the complete search results for that section. Only sections that return results are displayed making it easy to determine which sections of InfoMine contain information that fit your search. The new search is located in the top left corner of almost all pages of InfoMine making it is easily available throughout the InfoMine site.
