MINFILE Links for InfoMine Database Properties Now Available
Links to BC MINFILE Reports are now available from the InfoMine database property profile pages. Approximately 550 properties on InfoMine db, all located in British Columbia, now have direct links to MINFILE Reports related to the property. These links were made possible through work of staff at the British Columbia Geological Survey who sorted through the extensive list of MINFILE occurrences to link them to properties listed on InfoMine db. To access the BC MINFILE Report simply click on the link on a property profile page; the report from MINFILE related to that property will open in a new browser window.
MINFILE is a mineral inventory system managed by the British Columbia Ministry of Energy & Mines, Geological Survey Branch. The MINFILE database contains over 80 megabytes of information on more than 12,000 metallic mineral, industrial mineral and coal occurrences in British Columbia. For more information on MINFILE visit the MINFILE Home Page.
