Meet Vince Peckham! Vince is a geographical analyst, responsible for keeping the property portion of InfoMine's website up to date. Vince, a native Newfoundlander and recent new father, has worked at InfoMine for over 3 years and before coming to our team gained 8 years of experience as an exploration geologist working for major and junior mining and exploration companies in Canada and Mexico. We encourage anybody with additional property information, especially accurate latitude/longitude or UTM coordinate data, to send the info along to Vince, to help further enhance our map.InfoMine feature.

This month, we are congratulating Vince on the new arrival to his family with the birth of his son and first child, David Emilio Peckman. We wish Vince and his wife much joy!

EduMine has set up a new Corporate Site Enrollment package that is designed to be mine site specific. With this program, all the employees at a particular mine site can take advantage of the on-line mining courses, tools, publications and event listings. Edumine is the only on-line mining training site in the world, and is also accredited to award CEU's which are necessary to keep professional designation current.

If you are on a mine site, please browse the Edumine Course Catalog and choose your area of interest, then see if there are courses there that would be of interest to you and your colleagues. Edumine's content is also an excellent source of reference material and recognized experts in their field design all the courses. New Search Feature

A new feature has been added to the Quick Search for Companies & Properties. You can now browse our entire list of companies and properties alphabetically by name. With over 10,000 properties and 4,000 companies listed in the InfoMine db, finding the one you are looking for can sometimes be a challenge. This new search feature provides an alternative way to find companies and properties listed in our database and is particularly useful when you are unsure of the exact spelling of the name.

To use this new search feature simply click on any of the letters listed under the "Browse by COMPANY NAME" (or PROPERTY NAME) section of the Quick Search and all the companies or properties that start with that letter will be listed. InfoMine Buyer's Guide: New Search Feature

Just as the with Companies/Properties Search, a new feature has been added to the InfoMine Buyer's Guide Search enabling buyers to view all Suppliers alphabetically. For example, if one searches for all the Suppliers whose name starts with "A" the search result shows 874 Suppliers.

With over 10,000 Suppliers listed in the Buyer's Guide, this new search feature provides an alternative way to find a Supplier whose spelling you are unsure of. To use this new search feature, simply click on any of the letters listed under the "Browse by Supplier Name" under the Buyer's Guide Search on the main Suppliers page.
