Emergency Response Planning - The second course provides mining managers and professionals with a set of practical guidelines on Environmental Emergency Response Planning, i.e. how to respond to a variety of environmental emergencies, including chemical spills, oil spills and a hazardous gas emergency.

Final Mine Safety and Rescue Course Now Available

Rescue Rigging, Rescue Tools and Rescue Operations - This course is the fourth in a series of courses designed for teaching the theory of basic rescue procedures to be used following accidents at surface and underground mining operations. The course focuses on rescue rigging, rescue tools and rescue operations concerned with vehicle accidents, burning buildings, cave-ins, electrical hazards and cold weather hazards.

Previous courses in the series have focused on emergency planning, recognition and treatment for mine gases, and firefighting practice and fire suppression.
