The complete series of four courses in the Hydrometallurgy Series, authored by Dr. Fathi Habashi, is now available online. The series is written for practising engineers and metallurgists as well as students and covers the theoretical basis of solution chemistry, the engineering aspects, and the technical applications for a large range of raw materials. It also covers purification - concentration processes such as activated charcoal absorption, ion exchange, and solvent extraction, as well as precipitation from leach solutions. The series is characterized by clear and simplified flow sheets, numerous chemical equations, many illustrations for equipment and plants, and a lucid style.
