Our Commitment To Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it accessible from nearly every page on InfoMine.
The Information We Collect
This notice applies to all personal information collected or submitted by clients when they subscribe, advertise or purchase products on InfoMine. The types of personal information collected are: Name, Address, Email address, Phone number, Credit/Debit Card Information.
The Way We Use Information
We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.
Our Commitment To Data Security
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
Our Commitment To Children's Privacy
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.
To enhance your experience on our sites, many of our web pages use "cookies". Cookies are small text files that we place in your computer's browser to store your preferences. Cookies, by themselves, do not tell us your email address or other personal information unless you choose to provide this information to us by, for example, registering at one of our sites. Once you choose to provide a web page with personal information, this information may be linked to the data stored in the cookie. A cookie is like an identification card. It is unique to your computer and can only be read by the server that gave it to you.
If you want to control which cookies you accept, you can configure your browser to accept all cookies or to alert you every time a cookie is offered by a website's server. Most browsers automatically accept cookies. You can set your browser option so that you will not receive cookies and you can also delete existing cookies from your browser. You may find that some parts of the site will not function properly if you have refused cookies.
How to see Cookies that you have accepted
You can configure your browser to accept all cookies or to alert you every time a cookie is offered by a website's server.
Some sections of our site use pop-ups. If your browser doesn’t accept them or you do not approve them, some of the services may not work effectively.
How you can access or update your information
You can correct all your personally-identifiable information that we collect online and maintain it by contacting us and requesting it.
You can correct factual errors in your personally-identifiable information by sending us a request that credibly shows an error.
To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.
You may contact us by email to request such information or to send corrections to firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also update your information and manage your account in Your Account (for registrants and subscribers).

InfoMine is designed for optimal use with the latest full version of Google Chrome. However, EduMine is designed for use with the latest full version of Microsoft Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari. We cannot guarantee the correct functionality of InfoMine or EduMine if viewed/used with web browsers other than those specified above.
There are two levels of access to InfoMine/EduMine:
Public access - no charges apply.
Additionally, there are subscriptions to publications at InfoMine/EduMine/MINING.com that are bulletins, newsletters and similar items, at no charge.
Cancelling a subscription to a paid service does not cancel your subscription to a publication or your registration/membership at InfoMine.
To cancel your subscription to a paid service, visit Account Management. You may also cancel by speaking with one of our Subscriptions team members (see contact information below) or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Be sure to include your user ID (typically the email address you used upon registering). Your subscription service will be cancelled effective the first day of the following month for most accounts and on the monthly anniversary date for accounts billed in Australia.
To be eligible for a refund, the user must provide proof of cancellation that includes the cancellation date and the user ID. In the event of any dispute over services billed, the maximum refund we are able to issue is the equivalent to the amounts charged to your account in the most recent three billing periods.
Ensure that, in all correspondence with the Subscriptions department, you include your full name, user ID/email address, previous email addresses if applicable, phone number, city and country.
To enter a subscriber/enrollee access only area, you will be prompted for a user ID (usually the email address you used upon creating the account) and a password. ONCE YOU PROVIDE YOUR USER ID AND PASSWORD, YOU WILL USUALLY NOT BE ASKED FOR IT AGAIN DURING ANY SINGLE ONLINE SESSION, as our server will have already "identified" you.
If you have a Single-User account, only the registered account holder is authorized to use the account. You may not share the user ID and password with anyone else. If you have a Multi-User Corporate account, only the registered users listed for the account are authorized to use the account. These users may not share their user IDs and passwords with anyone else.
If you want a user ID and password, please go to the Subscriptions section and complete the appropriate form. Your user ID and a confirmation will be e-mailed to you.
If you included your credit card details in the online form, your initial payment is processed almost immediately and your user ID and password will be e-mailed to you. On receipt of the e-mail sent from InfoMine containing your user ID and payment confirmation, you will be able to access the site.
If you did not include your credit card details in the online form, then your account will be activated as soon as payment is received. You will be notified by e-mail as soon as your account has been activated. If you encounter difficulty accessing the subscribed services after that, we suggest you sign out and sign back in, click F5 to refresh and clear the cache and/or close and open your browser to ensure you are signed in as a subscriber and not a registrant.
All billing is in Canadian dollars, plus applicable taxes, unless otherwise specified.
For customers outside of Canada, please note that we have no control over the exchange rate used by your credit card company. If you have any concerns regarding the exchange rate used for your credit card transaction please contact your credit card company directly.
Payment is accepted by authorized credit card. In rare cases, arrangements for a deposit/transfer can be made. Contact email@example.com to arrange.
On initial subscription/enrollment, the credit card is debited for the appropriate set-up fee and the pro-rated monthly InfoMine subscription (or EduMine enrollment) fee to the last day of that month. Thereafter, on the first day of each month, the credit card account is debited for the appropriate InfoMine subscription (or EduMine enrollment) fee for that month. No reimbursements are made for cancellations mid-month. Some of the subscriptions require a prepayment of 3 months of service. This is indicated in the details mentioned on the Subscriptions page.
Account statements can be obtained monthly via our site. Details can be found in the Payment tab of Your Account.
Payment is accepted by authorized credit card, Canadian cheque, U.S. check, International Money Order or telegraphic transfer. If payment is made by cheque in a currency other than Canadian dollars, please contact InfoMine for the acceptable exchange rate.
If payment is made by telegraphic transfer, please contact InfoMine for bank details. Please note that an additional charge is levied to offset bank charges - this will be added to your invoice.
Please note that accounts are not activated until payment has been received.
