The Way We Use Information We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order. We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive and to keep you informed of new developments at InfoMine which we believe would be of interest to you. We do not share these addresses with outside parties. We use information posted in the automated email inquiry forms on our listings to confirm the contact email for the listing and validate inquires generated from our site. We do not share this contact information with anyone except the recipient listed on the contact form. We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to share with advertisers. For example, we may tell an advertiser that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, or that Y number of men and Z number of women filled out our subscription form, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals. Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses. Our Commitment To Data Security To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. Our Commitment To Children's Privacy Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13. [Top] Access PolicyEffective November 9, 2000 InfoMine is designed for use with the latest full version of either Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer. However, EduMine is designed for use with the latest full version of Microsoft Internet Explorer only - it is NOT compatible with Netscape Navigator. We cannot guarantee the correct functionality of InfoMine or EduMine if viewed/used with web browsers other than those specified above. There are two levels of access to InfoMine/EduMine:
To enter a subscriber/enrollee access only area, you will be prompted for a User ID and a Password. ONCE YOU PROVIDE YOUR USER ID AND PASSWORD, YOU WILL USUALLY NOT BE ASKED FOR IT AGAIN DURING ANY SINGLE ONLINE SESSION, as our server will have already "identified" you. If you have a Single-User account only the registered account holder is authorized to use the account. You may not share the User ID & Password with anyone else. If you have a Multi-User Corporate account only the registered users listed for the account are authorized to use the account. These users may not share their User IDs & Passwords with anyone else. If you receive a prompt for a User ID and Password and you do not have an account, simply click on the "Cancel" button. You will probably receive an error message - this is O.K. Simply click on your browsers "Back" button to return to the original page. If you want a User ID and Password, please go to the Subscriptions section and complete the appropriate form. Your User ID and selected Password will be e-mailed to you. If you included your credit card details on the online form, your initial payment is processed virtually immediately and your User ID and Password will be e-mailed to you. On receipt of the e-mail containing your User ID and Password, you will be able to access the site. If you did not include your credit card details on the online form, then your account will be activated as soon as payment is received. You will be notified by e-mail as soon as your account has been activated. [Top] Billing PolicyEffective January 1, 2005 Currency All billing is in Canadian dollars. NOTE: ALL CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS ARE CONDUCTED IN CANADIAN DOLLARS. For customers outside of Canada please note that we have no control over the exchange rate used by your credit card company. If you have any concerns regarding the exchange rate used for your credit card transaction please contact your credit card company directly. Monthly Subscribers/Enrollees Payment is accepted by authorized credit card only. On initial subscription/enrollment, the credit card is debited for the appropriate set-up fee and the pro-rated monthly InfoMine subscription (or EduMine enrollment) fee to the last day of that month. Thereafter, on the first day of each month, the credit card account is debited for the appropriate InfoMine subscription (or EduMine enrollment) fee for that month. No reimbursements are made for cancellations mid-month. ACCOUNT STATEMENTS are obtained monthly via our site. Annual Subscribers/Enrollees Payment is accepted by authorized credit card, Canadian cheque, U.S. check, International Money Order or telegraphic transfer. If payment is made by cheque in a currency other than Canadian dollars, please contact InfoMine for the acceptable exchange rate. If payment is made by telegraphic transfer, please contact InfoMine for bank details. Please note that an additional charge is levied to offset bank charges - this will be added to your invoice. PLEASE NOTE THAT ACCOUNTS ARE NOT ACTIVATED UNTIL PAYMENT HAS BEEN RECEIVED.
