The laboratories of NRCan MMS CANMET Mining have five instruments as part of the mineralogical characterization facilities. Four of the instruments are electron microscopes and one is a carbon evaporator. All of these instruments are JEOL brand and are made by JEOL. Therefore for all the repairs must be done by JEOL technicians to ensure full technical compatibility. These instruments require maintenance to keep them operational.
