world location

The Kutcho Creek property, located 100km east of Dease Lake hosts three copper-zinc deposits containing 850 million pounds of copper and 1.2 billion pounds of zinc. The project can be accessed via road and airstrip.
Initial planning foresees production at 2,000,000 tonnes per year, producing 36,000 tonnes of copper, 39,000 tonnes of zinc, and 42,000 kg of silver and 340 kg of gold in concentrates annually during the first 7 years. The mine would begin as an open pit operation with the potential to go underground to access deeper deposits later in the mine life. A pre-feasibility study is underway and is expected to be complete by the end of second quarter of this year. A final feasibility study will follow and is targeted for completion by the end of 2007 with a view towards production in 2009.
