The Xietongmen property covers an area of 1,290 ha and is located 240 kilometers southwest of Lhasa in Tibet, China.
Proven and Probable reserves 182.1 million tonnes grading at at 0.15% Copper Cut-off: 0.45% copper, 0.62 g/t gold, 4.03 g/t silver. The ore will be mined via open pit method and the feasibility study foresees a 40,000 tonnes per day copper concentrator for processing. At a capital cost of US$ 476.2 million, the pre-production period is expected to last 8 months. A three-stage pit operation is proposed for the development of the mine, with each stage lasting 3-5 years.
