Welcome to the Rio Tinto Simandou Campus on EduMineSimandou is a major iron ore mining project located in South Eastern Guinea. The project is in its final stages of exploration and feasibility studies, which will lead to the construction of a world class mining operation and a several hundred km long railroad to a deep water port. Rio Tinto Iron Ore is developing Simandou in collaboration with the Government of Guinea, Aluminum Corporation of China (CHINALCO) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC). Rio Tinto Simandou aims at promoting and supporting on-going professional development for its employees. For this purpose, this site login page provides unrestricted access for Simandou geoscientists to the Campus and the full range of EduMine resources for technical reference and self-learning. The Campus provides a platform for professional development programs tailored to corporate requirements and objectives.
