Mining Certificate Program

The Department of Mining and Geological Engineering is collaborating with the Norman B. Keevil Institute of Mining Engineering at the University of British Columbia  and EduMine to support a networked Mining Certificate Program. The program is based on unique courses designed to meet the lifelong learning needs of the mining community. This innovative model of learning uses a flexible approach to continuing education and cross-training of people in the mining industry and related trades. The program combines the convenience of online learning with the mentoring and peer-review benefits of short, intensive classroom courses, and completes the learning experience by assigning a take-away project.
