Koraleen Jarvis
Koraleen Jarvis is a Video Journalist and Producer with a multi-talented background in the creative Production Industry. Koraleen has a wide range of skills and knowledge having worked in Film and Commercial Production, Interior Design and Decorating, Radio and TV Broadcast Journalism.
Koraleen has a Diploma in Broadcast Journalism, from BCIT, a degree in Art History with a minor in Philosophy from UBC, and a Business Administration Marketing Diploma from SAIT. She has also studied Interior Design at BCIT and taken various film courses from the Vancouver Film School and Capilano College. Koraleen worked on numerous films and commercials before working with CBC, CFTK TV, and starting her own video and production company, Parrodoxx Pictures. Koraleen was also one of the creators of Mining Industry TV and was the Producer, Reporter, and Host. She is now looking forward to expanding her mining and video production knowledge to an international level with VideoMineHD.
Kevin Martells
Kevin Martells leads the production team for VideoMineHD. Kevin brings over 10 years of Emmy Award winning experience to the InfoMine organization. Kevin has worked for NBC, ABC, FOX and CBS NEWS. Kevin was known for his outstanding work during hurricane Katrina as he was the first Photojournalist to capture amazing video from downtown New Orleans and broadcast it to the world.
Since returning to Canada, Kevin has worked on the controversial documentary “Mr. Big”. Kevin has also worked for the CBC’s “Market Place” and “The National”. Kevin’s work outside the news industry includes shooting episodes of the popular TV show “The Shopping Bags”, “Connected Life” on MSN.com, and he was the Director of Photography/ Co-producer of “Mining Industry TV”. Kevin is recognized by the media industry as one of the top Photojournalists in North America.
